Biography
Pastor James
Thomas is a dynamic pastor and teacher who accepted
the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at the
age of twenty. A native of Muncie, Indiana, Pastor
Thomas graduated from the prestigious Central High
School in 1983. After high school, he began his
ministry as a college student at Ball State
University in Muncie, Indiana. It was during his
college studies, while pursuing a degree in
Religion, that God led Pastor Thomas to organize
Bible studies for campus students. After his
freshman year, Pastor Thomas transferred to Dallas,
Texas to continue his studies in Christian Education
at the Tyndale Theological Seminary.
In January 2000,
Pastor Thomas answered the call of God to accept the
position of Assistant Pastor at the Heritage
Fellowship United Church of Christ in Reston,
Virginia.
In August 2001,
Pastor Thomas graduated with honors from the
Covington Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia,
with a degree in Religious Education.
Pastor Thomas is
married to Tonya Lynnette, of Dallas, and they have
been blessed with three godly children; daughters
Jessica and Jalyn, and son Jordan. He is a
dedicated father and devoted husband.
God is using
Pastor Thomas in a powerful way all across our
country. This is proven by the anointed life he
lives, and the anointed ministry in which he serves. |
